12 DAYS MASAI MARA / NAKURU / AMBOSELI / NGORONGORO / SERENGETI / LAKE MANYARA

DAY 1: NAIROBI / MASAI MARA

10.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en-route. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of black maned lion, elephants, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA

06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning game drive . Return to the campsite for breakfast.

10.00 hrs: Proceed for a game drive, return to the campsite for lunch

16.00hrs: Proceed for a further game drive. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight

DAY 3: MASAI MARA

08.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a game drive and also visit the Hippo Pool. Return to the campsite for lunch and a short siesta.

16.00 hrs: A final game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA / LAKE NAKURU (Flamingoes)

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park . Lunch en-route. On arrival proceed for a game drive round Lake Nakuru to view Flamingoes, Rhinos, Water Buck, Buffaloes etc. The Flamingoes at Lake Nakuru are often described as the 'WORLD'S GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE'. After bird and game viewing check into a hotel with private shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU / NAIROBI / AMBOSELI

After a leisurely breakfast leave for Nairobi, stopping at the Great Rift Valley for a panoramic view, and continue to Amboseli. Picnic lunch en-route.

16.00 hrs: Proceed for a game drive in search of Cheetah, Rhinos, Elephants and also plenty of plains game, with the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the back ground. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI

06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast.

10.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive, Lunch at the campsite. After lunch a short siesta or if the lodge permits we will take you for a swim and shower (extra charge).

16.00 hrs: A further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI / NAMANGA / ARUSHA / KARATU

09.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Amboseli Game Reserve for Namanga (Immigration and customs, you can get your visas for Tanzania charge $50 and thereafter proceed to Arusha. After lunch continue to Ngorongoro campsite (KARATU) for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO

07.00 hrs: After early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch for a full day Ngorongoro Crater Tour. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: NGORONGORO / SERENGETI

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Ngorongoro for Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Game drive and picnic lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 10: SERENGETI

06.30 hrs: Early morning game drive, which should prove rewarding as the game is fresh and lively. Breakfast at the campsite.

10.00 hrs: After breakfast, with picnic lunch proceed for a further game drive, viewing the fantastic GNU Migration from Masai Mara with predators following at close range. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 11: SERENGETI / LAKE MANYARA

08.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Serengeti with picnic lunch for Lake Manyara. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of lions on trees. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 12: LAKE MANYARA / ARUSHA / NAIROBI

08.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Manyara for Arusha in time for lunch.

14.00 hrs: After lunch leave Arusha for Nairobi, Immigration and customs at Namanga, arriving into Nairobi around 18.30 hrs.
