Borana Lodge is on the 35,000 acre Borana Ranch, a working cattle ranch, which is situated on the Laikipia Plateau to the north of Mount Kenya, 28 kms from the equator and adjacent to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.Borana can be accessed by air via Lewa airstrip,from Nairobi Wilson Airport.
